In addition to our normal lesson programme, we offer a variety of special school holiday events to keep all ages busy... For our current list of dates click on the calendar months below

 

Own a Pony Days

A chance to own your own pony for the day! For children aged 6 years and over, the day starts with instruction and practise in caring for your pony. Then it's on with the fun with a riding lesson. We then stop for lunch and a quiz and finish with a fun gymkana. Certificates and rosettes for all.

Young Riders Improver Day

Suitable for riders over 11+ years, the programme of events will start with a drill ride session, learning to long rein, horse ball session, learning to lunge and finishing with a jump session.

Childrens Riding Morning / Afternoon

A fun morning of riding and games! Starting with a riding lesson and followed by some time to groom and pamper your pony. The morning is finished off with some fun in our gymkana. Suitable for all children aged 4 and above.

COWBOY & INDIANS FUN SESSIONS

A fun afternoon or morning to include dressing up, fun lesson, hacking through the cowboys trial ride. Please bring your child in costume, please ensure that any headress will fit over their riding hat. We will face paint, dress up the ponies and provide light refreshments whilst on the cowboy trail .£40.

SHOWING DAY

Open to both children and adults, this event includes lecture/demonstrations on plaiting, pulling and trimming etc. In-hand training, showing etiquette, how to ride an individual display. The event will finish with an In-hand and ridden classes. 9.30 - 3.30 £60
Jumping or Dressage Clinics

During school holidays we offer 45 minute lesson slots graded by ability to improve either your jumping or dressage technique

An Introduction to Jumping for Children

Starting with basics, you will learn about jumping position and do some polework in your first ridden session. Then, your instructor will explain the basics of jumping in a lecture, and finally you will receive a jumping lesson on a kind and experienced pony. For children confident in canter.

Dressage Improvement

.For children who wish to improve their dressage, the session will include a lesson, lecture and run through of dressage tests.

We are also a 'Pony Club Centre' for full details of the Pony Club and other childrens events please go to our Pony Club page.
Children must be members of the Pony Club to participate in Pony Club Events.

Birthday Parties
 

We offer Birthday Parties on Saturdays and Sundays at 2:30pm, or at other times in school holidays by arrangement.

Our birthday parties will include the following:-

Ride three quarters of an hour including gymkana games

Cafe - choice of hot meal plus jelly/ice cream

Birthday cake

Rosettes for all children

Present for the birthday child

Max 8 children including the birthday child. Cost £175
