We offer lessons for children from 4 years and over and of all abilities.
Our lessons are graded according to experience, starting on the lead
rein and progressing through to beginner, novice, medium and experienced.
We aim to make lessons fun and interesting, whilst still remaining safe.
Our instructors are all qualified and experienced in teaching children.

Lessons include games, jumping and hacking. Children can become
members of the Pony Club, using our ponies and take badges and proficiency tests.

They can join in own a pony days and riding mornings and through
the summer we run residential and non-residential camps.

Own a Pony Days

A chance to own your own pony for the day! For children aged 6 years and over, the day starts with instruction and practice in caring for your pony. Then it’s on with the fun with a riding lesson and treasure hunt. We then stop for lunch and a quiz and finish with a fun gymkhana and more pony care. – Rosettes for all. Suitable for all abilities including beginners.
9:30AM – 3:30PM

Childrens Riding Morning / Afternoon

A fun morning of riding and games! Starting with a riding lesson and followed by some time to groom and pamper your pony. The morning is finished off with some fun in our gymkhana. Suitable for all children aged 4 and above.Suitable for all abilities including beginners.
9:30 – 12.30 or 1.30 – 4.30

An Introduction to Jumping for Children

Starting with basics, you will learn about jumping position and do some polework in your first ridden session. Then, your instructor will explain the basics of jumping in a lecture, and finally you will receive a jumping lesson on a kind and experienced pony. For children confident in canter.
9:30AM – 12.30 or 1.30pm – 4.30pm

Dressage Improvement

For children who wish to improve their dressage, the session will include a lesson, lecture and run through of dressage tests.
9:30AM – 12.30 or 1.30pm – 4.30pm
