We offer full time apprenticeships for City & Guilds Diploma in Horse Care & Management

Days & Hours worked
* 5 days per week including 1 weekend day and 1 late session
* Students receive £95 per week training wage
* Total of 40 hours per week on the yard
* Extra hours are available to students who wish to earn extra, paid at N.M.W.

Details of training
* 3 ridden sessions, includes flat work, jumping lessons and hacking
* 3 lecture sessions covering all aspects of curriculum/syllabus.
* Ongoing practical training daily on the yard.
* Regular monitoring and assessing by our own qualified assessors.
* Chance to take you BHS Examiniations at Runningwell during your course.

Accommodation
* In purpose built block
* Central heating, well equipped with
* Washing machines, TV & Video, etc.
* Cleaner in three times per week
* Cost £30 per week
* Our Cafeteria is open six days per week serving a wide variety of home cooked meals

* Local amenities 10 mins by car (Wickford & Chelmsford)
* Senior staff always on site (24hours)
* Opportunities to compete in shows/clinics etc.

We provide both daytime and evening courses for BHS Stages I, II, III, IV & PTT Exams and Riding & Road Safety
