Runningwell Equestrian Centre has been owned by Ruth and Ian Dowie since 1999 and is now a BHS training and examination centre.

WE HAVE PLACES AVAILABLE ON THIS COURSE CALL NOW TO ARRANGE AN INTERVIEW

We offer Student Training for NVQ Level 2 in Horse Care

Student Training for NVQ Level 2
Days & Hours worked

* 5 days per week including 1 weekend day and 1 late session

* Students receive £80 per week training wage

* Total of 40 hours per week on the yard

* Extra hours are available to students who wish to earn extra, paid at N.M.W.

Details of training for NVQ
* 3 ridden sessions, includes flat work, jumping lessons and hacking
* 3 lecture sessions covering all aspects of curriculum/syllabus.

Accommodation
* In purpose built block
* Central heating, well equipped with
* Washing machines, TV & Video, etc.
* Cleaner in three times per week
* Cost £30 per week
* Our Cafeteria is open six days per week serving a wide variety of home cooked meals

Other information
* Local amenities 10 mins by car (Wickford & Chelmsford)
* Senior staff always on site (24hours)
* Opportunities to compete in shows/clinics etc.

Plenty of work has gone into improving the centre to provide a better quality service for our clients. Runningwell Equestrian Centre is set in 25 acres of grounds, which is not only home to the BHS and ABRS approved riding school, Liveries, staff and students, but also to Ruth and Ian, so they are constantly on site to supervise the daily running of the centre.

Jonathon Allinson Clinics

Jonathon trained at Yorkshire Riding Centre with Christopher Bartle. He completes in all 3 disciplines and is well known producer of young horses. He is approachable and makes lessons enjoyable for any level of rider either on the flat or jumping. Cost £30 (liveries) £35 for non liveries.
